5k Training — W7D5

Tried my new shoes this morning. Xero Prio shoes have a wide toe box which means my wide feet can spread out and not cause me to have pain in the ball of my foot.

I’ve also been having a little case of plantar fasciitis because I wasn’t taking time off to rest and that wasn’t bothering me today either.

My Achilles’ tendons have been sore the first half mile of running. My waking warm up is not enough so I’m going to have to figure something out to stretch those. By the end though they feel fine.

I named these my clown shoes because they are so wide but putting them on this morning they felt as if I’d been wearing them forever.

My weight number hasn’t budged since I started this. I guess I’m going to have to workout every day and run 3-4 times a week again until I drop weight.
