5k Training — Backtrack — W2D4

After a few fails at trying to get my butt onto the road, I made the decision to backtrack to week 2. Progress sometimes isn’t always in a forward motion. My intention of moving from a 4:00/1:00 interval back to a 2:00/1:00 interval was to get my confiendence back.

Let me tell you, it was just what I needed.

Since my last run I’ve been doing other workouts but there is nothing that can substitute for pounding the pavement as they say.

Today was also great because my kiddos came with me! I managed to get them to run most of it. 25 minutes and 2:00/1:00 intervals sounded easy, but about half way though they got a little winded.
